Kevin and Ashley's Jacksonville Beach Wedding | Coastal Occassions

Venue: Coastal Occasions at Casa Bella Village
Flowers: Dottie Grey
Hair & Make up: Amanda Hopcraft Makeup Artist
Cake: Alleycakes Dessert Company
DJ: James Struchten
Photographer: Angelita Esparar Photography

Wedding Gown: BHLDN

The few weeks leading up to the day of their wedding, I was a little nervous of what the beach would look like. Both Kevin and Ashley love the beach-- Kevin is a surfer, and it just makes sense for them to get married there. As most Jacksonville residents know, hurricane Matthew came by and damaged a lot of the homes by the beach, and left a lot of residue on the beach itself. However, I would say, it actually left a lot of character to the whole look.

The wind was really strong that day-- and you may notice that we switched the side of the bride/bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen--and I am so HAPPY that they did. The wind blew her dress into the air beautifully!

Also, there's this small venue close by at the Casa Bella Village, Coastal Occassions owned by Ambre Goff. It has so much character-- I am so in love with that place! Ashley, the bride, went with the succulent theme for her decorations that blended well with the whole look of Coastal Occassions. Check it out!

When I met Gary and Lauren a year well before they got married, I knew this would be a wedding I would look forward to. They didn't go with the trend and planned a classic, romantic, evening themed wedding. Their ceremony was candle lit at the Riverside Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. It was a perfect location to have a low lit ceremony. The warmth of the light complimented the general atmosphere of the location. It had a lot of character, thus adding to the beauty of the whole look.

I generally spread all the formal photos before and after the ceremony. This time, almost all the formal photos were taken before the Ceremony. Gary and Lauren are both social butterflies, and their cocktail hour was definitely something they didn't want to miss! They even had a silhouette artist that entertained the guests and created wonderful masterpieces within a swift amount of time.
