When we first started this session out--the weather was gorgeous. Connor and Shannen brought their pup, Buddy. He is just a few months old--and you can imagine how excited he was to see all the people around him. An hour later--BAM! We were hit with some strong gusts of wind and rain. It was like a hurricane--seriously. Florida and the weather is so unpredictable. I say this so many times. Thank God Connor brought an extra shirt and I store some bubble umbrellas in my trunk at all times as part of my inventory. With all this, I'm so elated with the results of this session.

Memorial park on Riverside

Some of you may know this. I used to live in Peachtree City, GA after moving from the Philippines more than a decade ago. I met Daniel and Linda through an old high school friend, and got a chance to photograph their engagement session during my visit up there. It was cold, dark, and gloomy--but I try to take advantage of every situation to make the most moving images. I hope you enjoy!

Sessions like these are really hard to come by because -one- ..you never know when the sunflowers will be in bloom, and -two- these flowers don't last that long and are harvested fairly quickly. We got really lucky. We initially planned to do the shoot around the parks in downtown Fayetteville, but thank you to a great fellow photographer and enthusiast, Stella Reynoso, I got to totally make my sunflower field photo come true!

Scheduling a July engagement shoot around Jacksonville Florida is one tough cookie-- we really got lucky with the weather. Brooke and I kept on texting each other back and forth. The forecast stated 30% chance rain, 0% chance rain, 60% chance rain, and then again 30% chance rain. Who else checks the weather as meticulously as I do? Anyways, we took the chance and drove out to Palm Coast, FL, and we really got lucky-- oh, the power of prayer! It was hot, but it was really beautiful and sunny. Washington Oaks State Park and Beach is a big gem in a small location. Wished it was a little bit closer....

Anyways, these two are SO sweet, so kind, and so in love. I hope you enjoy the photos just as much as I enjoyed this session!

I've been waiting several months for this engagement shoot, and I couldn't be happier about the outcome. Ann and Ron are such a sweet couple and I can't wait for their 2015 wedding at the Nocatee Crosswater Hall. Just a year away!

  

We got soo lucky that it didn't start pouring out hard on us during the shoot. That seems to happen a lot lately. I guess God is watching over this Angel!

During my fall visit to Fayetteville, NC, I shot JB and Serena's engagement session. I must say, fall is definitely my favorite season of the year. You can't beat the beauty of changing colors on the trees. Enjoy!

I was soo excited to shoot at Carolina Beach. It was my first time to visit this east coast attraction, and first time to do a shoot there. If you knew me, you'd know how excited I was to do this :) This is Marisa and Paul. They'll be getting married at the Beach :)
