Christa and Ben's Wedding

This was my first wedding (as the primary) in a vineyard-- Lu Mil Vineyard to be specific. It's about 45 minutes away from Fayetteville. It's a great location for weddings and events--I'd recommend other brides to look into this location.

Ben and Christa got married here on May 1, 2010. It was hot! Luckily, everything was done on time and we had that extra 30 minutes to squeeze in some alone time with the bride and groom for some formal portraits. Those extra 30 minutes during sunset makes the photographer so much more happier!

Wedding highlight? During the reception the bride and bridesmaids even had a dance--it was pretty sweet.

Thanks Ben and Christa for trusting me as your photographer (and for turning your selections in so speedily).

Rachel and Leon's Engagement Session

They are one of those couples that had a hard time to keep a straight face. That's how goofy they were, but it was really fun. I have to admit that they were so in love. You can really tell by how they laughed together. Their smiles were really contagious...

Ashley and Harry's Engagement

Sorry, sorry-- I know, it's been a while since the last blog. I've been busy shooting and my two nieces (Phoebe-4 and Hayley-2) came to visit for a whole month.  However, that's no excuse to let you out of the loop. I promise-- a lot more blogs are coming up soon.

This was an early-riser session. Normally I don't wake up early, but I would for the sake of taking better photos. Ashley and Harry are a reserved couple--kind hearted and sweet. It's going to be a breeze to cover their wedding in August of this year. It will be another trip down south of Fayetteville to the small town of Lumberton. See you soon!

Jacob & Lisa's Wedding

Short, sweet, and to the point wedding. Afterward, a whole lot of photos. Every wedding should have at least an hour dedicated to the love birds-- where you have the chance to walk around, look for spots, and capture the romance. Don't you think?

Picture of the day

..Or picture of the morning. Phoebe and Hayley, my two nieces, are staying with us for the summer month. I wanted to go out and take pictures of them, but it's hot outside--so decided to keep it clean and cool (and lazy) in bed. I just threw some tutu's that I made for them over the past few weeks and brushed their hair:
